A thank you gift from Roger and Ellen for helping out with their park model renters. What a laugh we had when they presented this gift.

A cotton gin is where the cotton fibers are separated from the cotton seed.

A cotton module. A module is a tightly compressed stack of cotton which holds 12-14 bales.

Arizona Cotton Field

This picture was taken not far from our park in Casa Grande. Some cotton fields have been picked, and others have not. A spray has been put on this to defoliate the plants. Defoliation helps the leaves to dry and fall off and also helps any of the remaining unopened bolls to open.
